Meridian Marine Management Ltd. was formerly IndoChina Ship Management, a company formed in 2000 by Pacific Basin Shipping and Jardine Matheson's ship management business. 

The company's history

Formation (2000): Pacific Basin acquired Jardine Matheson's ship management business and combined it with their own, with Pacific Basin holding a majority (67%) stake in the new venture.

Rapid growth (2001–2003): The company expanded significantly by acquiring London Shipping Consultants, Lothian Ship Management, and Bibby-Harrison Management Services. By late 2003, it was managing a diverse fleet, including gas and chemical carriers, dry bulk carriers, and product tankers.

Rebranding (2004): The company was renamed Meridian Marine Management Ltd. Managing director Alastair Evitt stated the name change was intended to reflect a more global image for the business. At the time, the company had offices in Manila, Singapore, London, Liverpool, and Hong Kong. Dissolution: According to UK corporate records, the UK-based entity, Meridian Marine Management Limited, was dissolved on November 8, 2014.
