Finally, the well-known WikiLeaks creator Julian Assange has been arrested at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London on Thursday He tried a lot to escape —that's almost seven years after he took refuge in the embassy to avoid arrest to Sweden over a sexual assault case. In this case, he looked quite unconfident to defend himself.

According to a concise statement released by London's Metropolitan Police Service, Assange has been arrested instantly after the Ecuadorian establishment today withdraws asylum.

As per the police officials, he has now been taken into custody at a central London police station, from where he will be accessible before Westminster Magistrates' Court as soon as possible. Furthermore, he will also have rights to defend his case with proper legal support.

Assange was nominated as criminal by British police for failing to surrender to the Westminster Magistrates' Court in August 2012, while he was under inquiry for sexual assault and rape allegations in Sweden. During this period, he looked uncomfortable with his own actions. His efforts for technology are recognized worldwide but this serious allegation can negatively impact on his overall career growth.

Although Sweden dropped its initial investigation into the rape charge against Julian Assange in 2017, Assange intends not to leave the Ecuadorian Embassy because he was afraid of extradition to the United States.

In the United States, Assange is fronting federal charges for leaking diplomatic cables and military papers through his famous publication WikiLeaks in 2010 that embarrassed the U.S. governments across the world. Apart from this, WikiLeaks also exposed very well-known politicians worldwide. Many people indicated that Assange has to pay more against the work he has done for compelling WikiLeaks.

Although U.S. establishments have never officially confirmed the charges against Assange, then last year U.S. prosecutors unintentionally exposed the presence of criminal charges against Assange in a document filed in an unrelated sex crime case.
